According to the Washington Examiner, water bills are set to triple this upcoming year. This could mean sky rocketing utility bills for owners of multifamily and commercial properties that are not submetered.  The American Water Works Association explains that the rise in water bills will occur as a result of fixing and expanding underground drinking water systems. The systems will cost over $1 trillion in the next 25 years.
