WaterWatch Corporation, a nationwide utility submetering company, recently implemented a Ratio Utility Billing System for a 200-plus unit apartment community located outside of Albany, N.Y. WaterWatch will also manage the utility billing for this community.

Prior to the completion of this project, WaterWatch worked with the property’s management team on implementation issues such as rate analysis and resident transition notification.

“WaterWatch is excited for another opportunity to promote energy conservation and environmental consciousness among residents while helping property owners to decrease operating costs,” Todd Quarterman, president of WaterWatch Corporation, said. “Residents who are billed for utility expenses are more inclined to conserve energy and are often quicker to report any maintenance issues that arise.”

For 15 years, WaterWatch has successfully worked with hundreds of property owners to control and reduce utility expenses through utility submetering. WaterWatch offers an array of services including installation, meter reading, resident invoicing and payment collections.
