WaterWatch Corporation, a nationwide utility submetering company, has completed the successful retrofit of an existing wireless water submetering system for a 300-plus unit condominium community outside Boston, Mass. WaterWatch will also manage the utility billing for this community, which was previously handled by another provider.

Prior to the transition, WaterWatch worked diligently with the property’s management team on implementation issues such as state regulation compliance, rate analysis and resident notification.

“We are excited about our growing presence in the greater Boston area,” Todd Quarterman, president of WaterWatch Corporation, said. “It’s another opportunity for WaterWatch to promote energy conservation and environmental consciousness among residents while helping home-owner associations to decrease operating costs. Boston’s multifamily market is growing, with the number of permits for condominium and rental units expected to double this year and we plan to continue developing partnerships with Boston-area property management organizations.”

For 15 years, WaterWatch has successfully worked with hundreds of property owners to control and reduce utility expenses through utility submetering. WaterWatch offers an array of services including installation, meter reading, resident invoicing and payment collections.
